ADDITIONAL RULES AND DISCLAIMERS

By participating in the Unlock20k Prize Hunt, you confirm acceptance of the following guidelines:

Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Brooklyn Game Lab and Darnis Krice (“Sponsor”), their agents and employees from any claim or proceeding resulting from their participation.
Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to use winner’s name, hometown, and likeness for purposes of advertising, promotion, and publicity without additional compensation. Winners may be required to provide name, address, email address, phone number, and other information in order to fulfill the award.
By accepting prize, winner agrees to release Sponsor, its directors, employees, officers, and agents, from any and all liability, loss or damages arising from or in connection with the awarding, receipt, and/or use or misuse of prize or participation in any prize-related activities.
Participants undertake all activities at their own risk. By participating, participants agree to release Sponsor, its directors, employees, officers, and agents from any and all liability, loss, or damages arising from or in connection with the travel to and visitation of Prospect Park and/or any contest-related sites or activities. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for the activity or behavior of participants during the travel to and visitation of Prospect Park and/or any contest-related sites or activities.
Submission of video recordings of prize hunt constitutes permission to use video recordings of prize hunt and participant’s name and likeness for purposes of advertising, promotion, and the creation of a video montage or long-form video without additional compensation. Participants that submit video without adding their phone number into the “your name” field will not be considered for video submission prizes.
Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, stolen, damaged, garbled, incomplete, or misdirected submissions or communications; for errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, or delays in operations or transmission of information, in each case whether arising by way of technical or other failures or malfunctions of computer hardware, software, communications devices, or transmission lines or data corruption, theft, destruction, unauthorized access to or alteration of entry materials, loss or otherwise.
Sponsor reserves the right to divide the prize money between participants should the winner be unclear or contested or if a group of participants has worked together and unanimously opts to divide the prize money. Sponsor does not have an obligation to divide the prize money for any reason and reserves the right to award the entire cash prize to the participant it deems to have found the key first in the case of a dispute between participants working as a team or otherwise.
Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, cancel, terminate or suspend this Contest. In the event of such cancellation, termination or suspension, a notice will be emailed to participants. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion to disqualify any entrant if his or her participation affects the integrity of the Contest.
UPDATE: Sponsor reserves the right to issue a “runner-up” prize and divide it between any and all participants that find the key on or before the date of it’s choosing. Sponsor reserves the right to divide the cash equally amongst runner-up winners or disproportionately based on the order in which they located the key or any other reasonable criteria. Sponsor reserves the right to limit the number of participants eligible for a portion of the runner-up prize. Sponsor reserves the right to question winners on how they located the key and disqualify (or pair as teams) any who cannot sufficiently answer this and any other related questions.
UPDATE: To claim the grand prize, any portion of the shared “runner-up place” prize or any prizes associated with the video submission contest, participants must attend the “wrap party” being hosted in Prospect Park on Saturday, June 5th. Anyone unable or unwilling to attend this award ceremony in person forfeits their stake in any and all cash prizes.
